Harvard trained tax policy advisor, Brigitte Alepin is a FELLOW of the Order of CPAs of Quebec, she is decorated with the National Order of Quebec, she won a GEMEAUX AWARD-Best scenario for the film “The Price we pay”, she is the recipient of the Humanitarian Awards of the Best Shorts Competition 2020 for the movie Fast & Dangerous Race to the bottom, she is one of the 10 Grand Ambassadors of the École des Sciences de la Gestion de l’Université du Québec à Montréal and she has been listed in the top 50 most influential people in global tax by the International Tax Review.
Professor Alepin teaches taxation at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. She is the author of numerous books and her most recent is the novel L’ALERTE.
Brigitte Alepin advises governments and several international organizations and she also serves as an expert witness on various committees of the House of Commons and the Senate of Canada and other commissions. Brigitte Alepin was a special advisor for CBC-SRC, she set up CPA Magazine’s first FISCALITÉ-PME column and the first tax policy column in the Journal de Montréal.
