Tax havens: thousands of billions to recover

Most Western countries are struggling to fill their deficits. They need more and more imagination and daring to invent new forms of taxation and apply them severely to those who can not escape. The fight against high-level tax evasion is still stalling. This week, the G8 adopted the idea of ??setting up an information exchange system but without a timetable. How to explain the lack of enthusiasm of states to fight against the great tax evasion?

Michel Lacombe discusses with his guests:

Brigitte Alepin, specialist in public finance and fiscal policies, author of the book “These rich who do not pay taxes”

Alain Deneault, sociologist and author of the book Offshore: Tax Havens and Criminal Sovereignty

Martial Foucault, Professor of Political Science at the University of Montreal and Director of the Center of Excellence on the European Union

Gabriel Zucman, researcher at the Paris School of Economics and specialist in tax havens

Guillermo Aureano, internship coordinator at the Department of Political Science at the Université de Montréal and researcher at CERIUM

Tax havens: thousands of billions to recover - Brigitte Alepin
L`alerte
